We provide elevated leadership training and development through a DEI lens to small businesses who want to equip their leaders with the skills and mindset necessary to create an inclusive company culture and increase employee engagement, with the goal of creating intentional pathways for equitable access to leadership, mentorship and sponsorship opportunities.

A Vision for Change

My passion for DEI work began long before I officially entered the field. Growing up, I witnessed discrimination and inequitable conditions, but I also experienced the power of diversity and inclusion and the impact it had on individuals and communities alike. This early awareness ignited a desire to effect meaningful change in the world using my voice and my platform.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with leaders from various backgrounds and industries. Through this journey, I've seen the profound influence that leadership can have on organizational culture and the lived experiences of employees. Leressa M. Coaching and Consulting was born out of the belief that leadership can be a catalyst for positive change in DEI efforts.

About Me

Leressa Joiner is the Visionary, Founder and Principal Consultant at Leressa M. Coaching & Consulting (LMCC). With over 20 years' experience as a Life and Leadership Coach, coupled with her passion for DEI Consulting, positioned her to create a firm built on talent, not titles.

As a Black, plus size, neurodivergent woman, Leressa struggled to navigate corporate spaces rife with microaggressions, discrimination, gender and weight bias and overall unequitable conditions, making her long to not only launch her own business, but

to partner with organization that recognized the beauty and creativity found in a diverse employee population

Because of her educational and inspirational ability to tell it like it is, Leressa has been featured as a guest blogger for several websites, appeared on various podcasts, featured in local magazines, and appeared on a local newstation, KETV7, sharing her insight and expertise on thought provoking conversations regarding inclusive leadership, DEI, women’s empowerment, self-care, grief support and a myriad of related topics critical to both our local and global communities.
